The legendary Windies cricketer paid the gas bill of everyone who opted to stop at the fuel station as he thrilled people with his trademark smile and joie de vivre.

Legendary West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle was recently spotted at a fuel station in Jamaica as the maverick left-handed opener paid the gas bill of everyone present at the station.

Draped in an uber-cool tank top and shorts, the ever-hep cricketer was filmed walking around the gas station with his trademark smile and joie de vivre as he went around greeting the lucky few who had opted for a stop at the gas station.

He was seen wishing people well and stating ‘Your gas bill today is on me’, as he magnanimously opted to foot the bill.

The self-proclaimed Universe Boss is quite the character and is seen as the epitome of the joy of the game of cricket. With his laid-back attitude off the field, he has enamoured fans from across the globe. He is famous for his massive striking ability which helped sides he has represented throughout his long career strike fear into the hearts of opposition bowlers and has taken the game away at will.

The 44-year-old, who has made a name for himself with his incredibly destructive batting has represented his nation across all three formats of the game, Test, ODI and T20I and has a portfolio that most cricketers would envy.

He has pulled on the Test whites an incredible 101 times for his nation, while also managing 301 ODI caps for the WI side. He also appeared in 79 games for the West Indies in the shortest 20-over format of the game.

He has notched up over 10,000 runs in the 50-over format, while also having made more than 7000 runs in Test for his nation.

He has amassed nearly 1900 runs in the T20 format for the Windies and is also widely considered an IPL legend for his exploits at the money-rich franchise league in India.

The big-hitting southpaw has tallied 4965 runs in the IPL having plied his trade for multiple teams in the league.
