South Indian cuisine boasts a variety of lip-smacking dishes that are packed with various essential nutrients. Among these cuisines is a soul-warming dish called ‘Rasam’, which is a staple dish of Tamil Nadu. Also referred to as the ‘king of soups’, this tangy and aromatic soup-like dish is primarily made with tomatoes, tamarind, warming spices, and aromatic herbs. But these spices and tomatoes are not always a go-to thing for every Rasam lover. There are some who don’t like the flavour of these herbs on their tongue, and if you are among them, there is no need to be sad. We have come across a video that shows a boy straining down the rasam over a plate of white rice, leaving the tomatoes behind.

Yes, you read that correctly. A video is going viral on the internet with the text, “The legend in our house,” leaving viewers ROFL. Sharing the video on Instagram, the user captioned, “Who all eat like that?? Not me, but definitely my son.”

In a pinned comment, the digital content creator added, “The dish he is straining is RASAM and he doesn’t like the taste of tomatoes and tadka on his tongue… and ya straining those two things, I am sure, won’t make him malnourished. Also of course I am desi mom, because he is eating what I made.”
